Doris Margaret Dempsey

Mrs. Doris Dempsey, age 93, of Cleveland, passed away January 5, 2018

She was preceded in death by her parents; Lofton Reed and Ida Burger, husband; Horace W. Dempsey, daughter; Donna Rebecca Hewitt, brothers; George, T.P. , Lindy, and Jimmy Reed. Survivors include, sister; Louise Reed Swafford, son; David Dempsey and Patricia, daughter; Karen Harris, grandchildren; Jeff Hewitt, Cindy, Jason, Jeremy, and Nicholas Dempsey, Chris and Tiffany Harris, Shane Harris, great grandchildren; Jordann, River, Gage, Delanie, and Jaxyn Dempsey, Madelyn, Gracie, Katelynn, Brilee Harris, Olivvia Cheathem and Brooklynn Harris, special caregiver and friend Stacy Dixon.
A celebration of life funeral service is planned for 6:00pm on Tuesday January 9, 2018 at Companion Funeral Home, located at 2419 Georgetown Road NW, with Pastor Bill Pearman officiating.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday night, one hour prior, from 5:00pm until the 6:00pm service time.
Ms. Doris will be laid to rest at 12:00pm in the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens on Wednesday January 10, 2018.
