Doris Jane Dowdy

Doris Jane Dowdy, 77, of Cleveland, TN passed away on July 2, 2017. She has 3 living sons, Bobby of Cleveland, Tn, Tony with his wife Sabra Dowdy of Litchfield, KY, and Randell with his wife Tammy Dowdy of Cleveland, TN, her best friend Betty Morris, and her poodle Snowball. She also has 11 grandchildren 18 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her husband George and daughter Sharon and 2 brothers and 5 sisters
Doris was of Baptist Faith.
She was retired from ANR Knitting in Cleveland Tn.
She loved going to yard sales and flea markets.
There will be a viewing on Wednesday July 5th from 5-9 pm at the Companion Funeral Home on Georgetown Road in Cleveland TN.
There will be an extra viewing at 10 am at the Chapel at the Companion Funeral Home on Thursday July 6th with a funeral service at the Chapel at 11am, followed by the interment at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens where she will be laid to rest beside her daughter Sharon. Her husband’s ashes will be laid to rest with her as they shared a marriage of 59 years.
The Pallbearers will be Tony, Bobby, Randell, Terry Henry, and David Woodward.
