Doris Griffith

Doris Griffith, 86, of Cleveland, Tennessee went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, March 5, 2026. Doris was born on July 15, 1939 in Cleveland to the late Raymond and Nola Smith.

Doris was a dedicated servant of the Lord for over 40 years. You could always find Doris praising the Lord in song. The family is rejoicing that Doris now has the chance to sing to Jesus face to face.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James Griffith; and her brothers, J.C. Smith, Jack Smith, Charles Smith, and Donnie Smith.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Terri (Rodney) Johnson, and Chris (Shellie) Griffith; brothers, Jim Smith, Bob Smith, and Rick Smith; and her grandchildren, Sydney Griffith and Ben Griffith; along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

A private family graveside service will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens at a later date.
