Donnie Martin

Donnie Martin, 65, of Athens, Tennessee passed away June 2, 2022. He was born December 21, 1956 to the late Albert and Pauline Martin. Donnie was a hard-working man. He enjoyed spending time with his grandsons, riding around, as well as flea markets – junkin’ as he called it.

Along with his parents, Donnie was preceded in death by his brothers, Scottie Martin, Mitchell Martin; grandson, Tucker Crane; and grandparents, Annie Davis, Paul Greene, Mary Martin, Warsh Martin.

Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Misty Elliott, Nathan Martin, Brittany Martin; grandson, Tanner Crane; step grandson, Beaux Elliott; siblings, Doris Hart, Gail Robinson, Connie Burnette, Janie Moore, Kathy Boruff, Lisa Frerichs, Wayne Martin; along with several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at Companion Funeral Home of Athens with Pastor Donnie Dalton officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. prior to the service.
