Donnie L. Simonds

Donnie Simonds, 62, of Cleveland, TN, passed away April 9, 2023, at 2:30 p.m. at Chattanooga Care Center from Lung Cancer. He was born in Dade City FL. and resided in Cleveland TN. Donnie was a loving brother, uncle, and friend to so many. He could never meet a stranger. He loved to travel and was always ready to ride. He was a big jokester, but very straightforward. Donnie was the most honest and hard-working man. He was loved by so many and will greatly be missed.

Donnie is proceeded in death by his father Marlin Simonds Sr.; mother, Matilda Gann; stepfather, Eugene Gann; brothers, Dennis and Gary Simonds; nephew, Duane Moller; the love of his life Rita Massengill.

Donnie is survived by stepmother, Freida Branch; brothers, Jimmy, Randy, and Marlin Simonds Jr.; sisters, Glenda Miller, Jennifer Mesa, Michelle Evans, Lisa Faust, and Barbara Young; many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Special thank you to Tina Moller, Leslie Lenker, Crystal Waldron, Sandra Pope and Angela Simonds.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM-7:00 PM, Saturday, April 15, 2023, at Companion Funeral Home, followed by the service in the chapel at 7:00 PM. Pastor James Ledford & Pastor Sam Blankenship, officiating.
