Donna Jean Lindsay

Donna Jean Lindsay, born on June 15, 1945, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2026, in Cleveland, Tennessee. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, and is survived by her loving husband, Frank Lindsay; daughter Amy Lindsay; son Brian Lindsay; granddaughter Piper Bennett; grandson Riley Bennett; sister Maryanne Roberts; and nieces Christy Black and Cindy Tomaszeski.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Helen Burbank.

As a licensed practical nurse, Donna dedicated her life to caring for others, demonstrating her compassionate nature and commitment to the healthcare field. Her warmth and kindness extended beyond her profession, as she cherished her time spent with family and friends. Donna's faith was a cornerstone of her life, providing her with strength and guiding her in her relationships.

In her leisure time, Donna enjoyed a variety of hobbies that reflected her creative spirit. She found joy in crocheting, quilting, and indulging in diamond dot art. Puzzles and crossword games brought her much delight, and she often shared her love for these pastimes with family members. One of her most memorable moments was the day she adopted her son, Brian, a profound experience that shaped her life and deepened her love for her family.

Donna will be remembered for her unwavering support, generous heart, and her dedication to nurturing those around her. Her legacy will continue to live on in the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know her.

A celebration of life service will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at Companion Funeral Home - The Cleveland Chapel at 6:00 pm with Pastor Jared Spano officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm prior to the service.
