Donald Ray Prince

Donald Ray Prince, age 76, of Birchwood, Tennessee, passed away on February 21, 2026.

Donald was of the Baptist faith and found great joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved spending time outdoors and especially enjoyed going fishing. Born on May 11, 1949, in Cleveland, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Henry and Sadie Prince.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his three wives, Helen Sue Prince, Patricia Lawson, and Mary Holmes; son, Don Prince; and brothers, Terry Prince and Calvin Prince.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his daughters, Donna Wright of Georgetown, Tennessee, and Mary Burgess of Cleveland, Tennessee; sons, Jason Prince of Birchwood, Tennessee, and Johnny Prince of the Ponderosa; sisters, Mary Womac of Charleston, Tennessee, and Estelle (Ray) Powell of Riceville, Tennessee; along with several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m at Companion Funeral Home located at 2415 Georgetown Rd. Cleveland, TN 37311. A funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m., with David Evans officiating.

Donald will be laid to rest at McInturff Cemetery with Jake Prince, Jesse Prince, Brandon Wright, Jeremy Ware, Randy McCrary, and Ronnie Bol serving as pallbearers.
