Donald Hornbuckle

Donald Hornbuckle, age 70, passed away peacefully on August 28, 2026.

Donald was a loving father and grandfather who cherished his family dearly. He especially adored his grandchildren and was known for spoiling them every chance he got. His love for them was evident in the countless memories they shared, and he will forever be remembered for the special place he held in their hearts.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jeanette Hornbuckle; brothers, James Hornbuckle and Arthur Hornbuckle; sister, Linda Poole; and son, Donald Matthew Hornbuckle.

Donald leaves behind to cherish his memory his daughter, Brooklyn (Anthony) Becker of Chatsworth, Georgia; brother, Ronald (Cathy) Hornbuckle of Dalton, Georgia; brother-in-law, Arthur Poole of New Albany; grandchildren, Johnathon Becker and Hazel Becker; nephew, Clay (Tina) Hornbuckle; along with many other nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Donald's greatest joy was his family, and the love he shared with them will continue to live on through the memories they hold dear. Though he will be deeply missed, his family will forever carry his love in their hearts.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Ridge Sanctuary of Companion Funeral and Cremation Service, located at 2412 Georgetown Rd. NW, Cleveland, TN 37311.

A funeral service will follow at 4:00 p.m., with Pastor Guinn Green officiating.
