Donald Robert Brown, age 78, passed away peacefully on June 22, 2025. Born on October 13, 1946, Don was a devoted husband, father, stepfather, grandfather, and great-grandfather who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert (Shirley) Brown; his mother, Iva (Bruce) Goodfellow; and other cherished family members.

Don is survived by his loving wife, Rebecca Brown; sons, Chris (Cris) Brown and Jason (Chrystal) Brown; step-sons, Kris (Azita) Watson and Lucas (Taylor) Watson; step-daughters, Julie (Danny) Mingus and Missy Watson. He was a proud grandfather to Tryston Brown, Crystine Brown, Lily Brown, and Hailey Brown; and step-grandfather to James (Kayla) Mathis, Andrew Watson, Christopher Watson, Elijah Watson, Jenna Mathis, Paige Tharpe, Raylyn Watson, and Ayla Watson. He also leaves behind two beloved step-great-granddaughters, Amelia Mathis and Sylvie Savage.

Don had a lifelong love for NASCAR and was a passionate gun enthusiast. Whether cheering on his favorite driver or spending time at the range, he found great joy in his hobbies and shared that passion with those around him.

His legacy of love, strength, and unforgettable presence will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on July 12, 2025 at Oak Grove Baptist Church with visitation starting at 2:00pm til 3:00pm with the to follow officiated by Johnathon Powell and James Mathis.
