Diane Marie Clarenson

Diane Marie Clarenson, age 70, passed away peacefully on October 25, 2026, in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She was born on April 26, 1956, in Alexandria, Virginia, to Herman and Dorothy Wright (née Gregg).

Diane had a deep love for music and a beautiful voice that came alive whenever she sang. Whether singing her favorite songs or dancing to the music, she had a special way of bringing life, joy, and happiness to any room. She loved to laugh, enjoyed having fun, and embraced life with a free spirit that made her truly special.

Diane was also a devoted animal lover, with a special place in her heart for cats and birds. Animals brought her great joy, and her gentle, caring nature reflected the love she had for all living creatures. She was a lifelong fan of Washington football, an avid movie enthusiast, and especially looked forward to celebrating Halloween and Christmas each year.

Diane will be lovingly remembered by her devoted husband, Robert; her daughters, Christine (Matthew) and Catherine (James); her cherished grandchildren, Lucille and Benjamin; and her brother, Kevin. She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Dorothy, and her brother, Ernest.

Diane's memory will live on through the love she shared, the laughter she brought to others, and the joy she found in life's simple pleasures. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Organization for Autism Research in Diane's memory.
