Denny Knight

Denny Allen Knight, age 74, passed away on December 27, 2025. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Denny will be remembered for his kind heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering love for his family and the Lord.

Denny was a member of Cohulla Baptist Church and lived his life guided by his strong Christian faith. He was a true family man who found his greatest joy in spending time with those he loved. Whether gathered together at home or cheering on his favorite NASCAR drivers and football teams, Denny cherished every moment with family.

Denny proudly served his country during the Vietnam War and was honored with a Bronze Star for his service, a testament to his courage and dedication.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Virgie Knight, and his nephew, Tony Knight.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Imogene Knight; his son, Jason (Krissi) Knight; brothers, Gary (Lynn) Knight and Roger (Brenda) Knight; grandchildren, Haley Knight, Shaye (Cody) Haynie, and Logan (Lexus) Swafford; great-grandchildren, Letty, Lincoin, Collen, and Carter; niece, Misty Knight; and nephews, Steve and Eddie Knight.

A celebration of life memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2026 at Companion Funeral Home - Cleveland Chapel. Visitation will be held from 4:00pm til 6:00pm, with the service officiated by Pastor Bill Ellis. In lieu of flowers the family has asked to make a donation to your favorite charity.

Denny's legacy of faith, love, and service will live on through the many lives he touched. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
