Dennis Ray Chris

Dennis Ray Chris, 70, a resident of Etowah, TN passed away on Friday, July 28th, 2017 at Park West Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. He was born on March 13th, 1947 in Terre Haute, Indiana a son of the late Louis & Helen Chris. He was an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Army. Dennis was retired from LTV Steel in Indiana. He was a member of Amvets Post 100 in Etowah.

He will be dearly missed by his step children Faith Wilson of Valparaiso, IN, Dawn (Gary) Gale of Portage, IN, Lisa (Mike) Elkins also of Portage, IN and Brian (Stacy) Chris of Hawaii, 8 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, special friends Karen Sickler, Hazel & Stacy, his three cats “Missy”, “Buddy” and “Miss Priss”, numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.
