Dennis Lee Baxter

Dennis Baxter, 62, passed away on March 10, 2020. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and was a member of Washington Avenue Baptist Church, former pastor of Community Missionary Baptist Church in Apison, TN.


He is preceded in Death by his mother, Annie Baxter; Father RC “Bill” Baxter; Brother Danny “Bruce” Kaylor and wife Nancy Kaylor; Nephew, Jessie Kaylor.

Survived by his son: David Baxter wife Laura; daughter: Brittnee Lewis husband Michael Lewis; grandchildren: Emily Lewis, Spencer Lewis, Lainy Baxter, Cadie Lewis, Jayvan Baxter, Izabella Baxter; Brother Willie Baxter wife Renee Wood; nephew Mitch Baxter; nephew Kristopher Baxter.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 16, 2020 from 4-5:30 PM at Companion Funeral Home with a service to begin at 5:30 PM with Daniel White officiating.
