Denise Lynn Alley

Denise Lynn Flatt Alley was born on October 24, 1954 in Detroit, Michigan to Eudell Beatrix Birdwell and Lenard Baskum Flatt. She blessed this world with 71 years of her presence.

Coming from humble beginnings, she spent years of her youth with her family in Putnam County where you can find many of the Flatt family members. A bit of a wild one, she hitchhiked across the US to Arizona where she had her first son, Jason. South Carolina was a short term home where she had her second son, Dillion.

Her heart was always in Tennessee and that is where she raised her family. Always a feisty spirit and poetic at heart, she loved to read, send funny videos, and occasionally write some poems of her own. She had a knack for plants and was known to have sprigs of plants from her travels that she planted at her home.

She was surrounded by family and friends at her passing. She will be missed deeply, and she is survived by her sons Jason (Beth) Piller, Dillion(Suzanne) Alley, three grandsons (Brantley & Ryan Piller; Cooper Alley) and her granddaughter Alice Alley.
