Dee Ann Hawkins

Dee Ann Hawkins, a dearly loved mother and daughter, peacefully passed away on September 26, 2026, at the age of 67. Born on April 6, 1959, in Terre Haute, Indiana.

Earlier throughout her life Dee loved gardening, baking and cooking. In her later years, she discovered a passion for bird watching, finding solace and happiness in the beauty of nature around her. She retired as a supervisor from the United States Postal Service.

Preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Wilson.

She is survived by her daughters, Amy Hawkins and Stephanie (Chris) Hannah; and grandchildren, Savanna Hannah and Garrick Hannah.

The family remembers Dee fondly, especially on the night of her passing when a full moon illuminated the sky, and 600 million birds took to the air in migration-a poignant reminder of her free spirit.
