Retiring from life, forever young, undefeated and overflowing with kindness and love, Debbie Ridings Novak (passed away on December 2nd, 2025 at Happy Acre in Murphy, NC at 67 years of ageRed, White and Born on the Fourth of July in 1958, in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, Debbie was a physical manifestation of the Greatest Country in the Universe born unto Lindora and Jim Ridings. She graduated from Francis Scott Key High School Class of 1976, and she matriculated at Florida Metropolitan University.

Florida Nana, Mother Earth, Aunt Deb, and Mom are the titles she carried most proudly. A lifelong and tireless caregiver to people, plants and pets, she often put the needs and wants of those around her before her own. Serving a community that loves and adores her at Rod's and creating the most incredible, handcrafted everythings. Her painting, calligraphy, fried chicken and crab boils are the stuff of legend. She preached peace and advocated gifts of your time and talent and gave the absolute best hugs.

Her adventure blissfully lead her from Holiday, Florida to Murphy, in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina, with her best friend, Barbara "Barb" and husband, Radin Rajzek who both graciously and tirelessly cared for her in life and during her end of life care. Her legacy includes her son, David Randolph and daughter, Danielle Randolph, as well as her grandchildren, Harvey Randolph and Camellia "Cami" Randolph. She is survived by her siblings, Darlene Robertson, George Ridings, John Ridings, and Donna Barger along with several cherished nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, and a community of friends. She is predeceased by her mother and father and her brother, James Ridings.

"And when you need me, put your arms around anyone and give them what you need to give me" She lives always in us, and we forever love her so so much.

Celebrations of Life will be announced as the dates and times are determined.
