passed away on January 24, 2026, at the age of 70. She was born on April 22, 1955 to Delbert & Mildred Brannon in Hurricane, WV. She graduated from Hurricane High School in 1973. That same year she fell in love with Ronald and were married in Kissimmee, FL.

Ronald & Deborah had a handsome son, Justin & beautiful daughter, Heather. Deborah's working career began at Forest Lake Education Center (FLEEC) then moving on to the Florida Conference office of education. In 2008 Ron & Deborah moved to Helena, Montana, where she worked for St Peter's Hospital in Diagnostic Imaging and VA Montana. In 2020 Ron & Deborah moved to Berrien Springs, Michigan. She began working at VA Indiana, Andrews University bookstore & her last job before retiring was study hall supervisor at Andrews Academy. In 2023, you guessed it, they moved to Collegedale, TN. The joy of her life was her 3 grandsons: Burgess, Dalton & Cameron.

Deborah is survived by her husband, Ronald Payne, son, Justin Payne (Suzie), daughter, Heather Goodbrad (Donald), 3 grandsons: Burgess Goodbrad, Dalton Goodbrad & Cameron Payne, brothers, Delbert Brannon (Anna), Stan Brannon (MarySue), sister, Anita Whatley, and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Life service will take place on Sunday, February 1, 2026 at 11am at McDonald Road SDA Church.
