Deborah Broom, age 73, passed away peacefully at her residence on December 18, 2025. A wonderful mother and a deeply loving person, Debbie's life was a reflection of her unwavering faith, her devotion to family, and her kind, gentle spirit.
Debbie was of the Christian faith, and her beliefs guided her daily life. She found her greatest joy in caring for her family and being a constant source of love, encouragement, and strength to those around her. Her home was a place of warmth, where family gatherings were filled with laughter, comfort, and heartfelt memories that will be treasured forever.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Viola Beasley, and her mother- and father-in-law, Albert and Johnny Broom.
She is survived by her loving spouse, Melvin Broom; sons, Gregory Broom (Taelor Boling) and Charles "Kevin" Beasley; daughter, Amanda Carter (Joshua Carter); sister, Beverly Hopkins (Robert Hopkins); nephew, Brian Hopkins; and her beloved grandchildren, Dustin Beasley, Brandon Beasley, Savanna Beasley, Mason Broom, Madeline Broom, Kayden Carter, Zayne Carter, and Raelan Boling, all of whom were the light of her life.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 21, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m at Companion Funeral Home located at 2415 Georgetown Rd. Cleveland, TN 37311. Funeral services will take place on Monday, December 22, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Companion Funeral Home, with Bill Lickliter officiating. Debbie will be laid to rest at her residence, located at 160 Wilson Lane NW, Cleveland, Tennessee 37312.
Debbie will be remembered for her loving heart, her faith, and the lasting impact she made on her family and all who knew her. Her legacy of love will continue to live on in the lives she touched.
