Deborah Fay Beaty, 67, of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, November 22, 2025 at her home. She was a life long member of East Side Church of Christ. A student of Bradley Central High School, graduating class of 1976, where she was a student assistant librarian.
When Debbie wasn't attending church or working, she was an avid reader and loved sitting in her chair with a good book. She found joy in solving crossword puzzles and testing her knowledge while watching Jeopardy. A proud breast cancer survivor, she exemplified resilience and strength in her life, inspiring those around her with her determination. She had a special fondness for the color purple, all flowers, and butterflies which often reflected her calm and caring personality. She will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and the love she shared with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Paul Sim Beaty.
Survivors include her mother, Wanda Faye Beaty of Cleveland; siblings, Paul Beaty and wife, Sallie Beaty of Cleveland and Gary Beaty and wife, Sherry Beaty of Cleveland; four nieces and nephews, Holly Stokes and husband, Chris Stokes of Cleveland, Katherine Beaty Kokaly and husband, Christopher Kokaly of Cleveland, Jacob Beaty and wife, Holli Beaty of Cleveland, and Justin Beaty and wife, Samantha Beaty of Ooltewah; great nieces and nephew, Reed Stokes, Savannah Stokes, Maverick Kokaly, Oliver Kokaly, Ella Grace Beaty, Saylor Beaty, and Walker Beaty; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She will also be greatly missed by her lifelong friend, Patty Shrite. Along with all of her Church family at East Side Church of Christ, as well as, all of her work family both from American Uniform and Advance Photographic Solutions.
Her family will receive friends at Companion Funeral Home , 2412 Georgetown Road NW, Cleveland, TN 37311, on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm, followed by the Memorial Service at 3:00 with Minister Jeff Archey officiating. In honoring her memory of Debbie, she will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Gardens 7180 N Lee Hwy in Cleveland with Kenneth Flowers, Cody Flowers, Rodney Casteel, Mark Beaty, James Beaty, Jesse Beaty serving as pallbearers with Ryan Snyder and Jack Snyder as honorary pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, Debbie had requested that donations be made to: St. Jude's Children Hospital, East Side Church of Christ Benevolence, and/or the American Cancer Society.
