Dayle Lynn Strianese, lovingly known as "Dayle Bird," passed away peacefully on May 8, 2026, in Ringgold, Georgia, at the age of 68.
Born on August 29, 1957, in Greeley, Colorado, Dayle was a woman whose personality could light up any room. She never met a stranger and was always ready with a cup of coffee, heartfelt advice, and a listening ear for anyone fortunate enough to call her a friend.
Dayle found joy in life's simple and beautiful things. She loved cooking for those she cared about, watching birds from her window, collecting geodes and anything sparkly, and if it had a peacock on it, she probably brought it home. She enjoyed reality television, laughter with family, and creating memories with the people she loved most.
Above all else, Dayle treasured her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought endless pride and happiness to her life.
She is survived by her daughter, Samantha "Scott" Aycock; her grandchildren, Val Widener, Saraeh Widener, Trey Aycock, and Brody Aycock; her sister-in-love Becky "Jerry" Hammond; her granddaughters-in-love, Leslie Wilson, Rachel Wilson, and Jaycie Wilson; and her great-grandchildren, Bryn, Everly, and Myles.
She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Chace Morehead.
A memorial service honoring Dayle's life will be held on May 30, 2026, at 2:00 PM at her home church of Amazing Grace Community Church, 3253 Catoosa Parkway, Tunnel Hill, Georgia. A celebration of life will follow in the fellowship hall.
"I'll love you forever, I'll like you for always, as long as I'm living, my baby you'll be."
