David Woods

David Allen Woods, age 66, passed away peacefully on December 8, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Herman Woods; mother, Veronica Woods; and brothers, Bob McAllister and John McAllister.

David leaves behind his beloved wife, Donna Woods; daughters, Beverly (John) Stricklin and Allison Bradley; son, Jeremy (Hayley) Woods; and his treasured grandchildren: Brandon Stricklin, Adam Stricklin, Gracie Stricklin, Cruz Stricklin, Jackson Bradley, Saylor Bradley, Foster Bradley, and Oliver Woods. Each one held a special place in his heart, and he was endlessly proud of them. He also leaves behind his brother Rodney Woods; and sister LaDonna Charlet.

A loyal Arkansas Razorback, St. Louis Cardinal, and Dallas Cowboys fan, David's enthusiasm for sports was a constant in his life. He was also an avid golfer, often finding joy and camaraderie on the course. Known for his love of tinkering and spending time in his garage, he unintentionally sparked what his family fondly calls "a movement" - inspiring others to create their own garage havens. David worked faithfully for JCPenney for 42 years, forming lasting friendships and earning deep respect along the way.

Above all, David was a family man. His greatest happiness came from time spent with those he loved most, whether cheering at a game, sharing stories, or simply being together.

A Memorial Service will be held at Companion Funeral Home - Ridge Chapel. Visitation will be open to friends and family from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., with the service officiated by Pastor Guinn Green at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 13th, 2025.
