David 'Stan" Davis

David Stanley “Stan” Davis, 80, of Polk County passed away Thursday March 17, 2016. Stan enjoyed fishing, gardening, and woodworking. Stan's biggest joy in life was his Grandchildren. Stan is proceeded in death by his parents C L Ras Davis and Nannie Lou Benson. Son-in-laws Glenn Norman and Frank Harmon. Left to cherish his memory, wife Venita Davis, four children, Rhonda Norman, David (Rebecca) Davis, Rodney (Lisa) Davis, Dawn Harmon. Stan is also survived by his seven wonderful grandchildren, Shane (Linda) Patterson, Jody (Angie) Patterson, Ryan Davis, Tyler Davis, Loni (Brady) Harris, Alexis Davis, and Paige Harmon. Three great-grandchildren, Gracie, Tynslee, Blakely Patterson. The mother of the older children Lavellda Davis. He is also survived by his four siblings. Celebration of life service will be held 7:00 pm Monday, March 21, 2016 in the chapel of Companion Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 Monday prior to the service.
