David Vernon Rowley Jr.

On Monday, July 6, 2026, at 1:55 pm, Dave Rowley passed away at The Waters Nursing Home in Clinton, TN. Dave unfortunately suffered from a stroke in April of 2025.

Dave was preceded in death by his brother, Allen Belcher; mother, Asenath Belcher; father, David V. Rowley Jr.; beloved sister, Vivian Fox and Lucy Den.

He is survived by Helen, Barbe, Patty, and Lawrence and Christy. Dave was a long- time companion of JoAnn Russell from 1993 until her death in 2005. He was a huge part of Andy Bullock and Chris Russell lives as well.

He enjoyed the outdoors and all the activities such as four wheeling, fishing, camping and bonfires. Dave was a huge Chevy man and an awesome mechanic and helped service many folk's cars and trucks locally in Clinton and Oak Ridge.

He enjoyed watching tractor pulls, motorcross, and Monday Night RAW wrestling. He loved the "Undertaker" in WWE.

The last 18 years of Dave's life was spent with his brother in-law and special friend, Ricky Derr; other special friends; Brandy Moneymaker, Mason Baxter and Cora Moneymaker. Throughout his friendships, Dave was very supportive and a strong figure in Brandy, Mason, and Cora's lives.

He and Mason enjoyed fishing and just hanging out as friends do. Along with Brandy and both kids, Dave was not only a father figure but a huge Blessing to the whole Moneymaker family along with Barbara Riga.

He will be truly missed and loved forever!
