David Andrew Burnette
May 18 1946 – January 25 2018
David passed away suddenly in a Chattanooga health facility of complications from chronic health issues.
He was a proud graduate of Brainerd High School and member of the Army Reserve. He played for the Chattanooga Cherokees semi-pro football team. David was in national sales. He was a passionate Tennessee Vols fan and loved dancing, sharing stories and life.
David is survived by his son Derek Vance Burnette, Daughter Cristine Burnette Bennett, Brothers Mike, Charlie, Harold, Pete and his baby sister, Diane.
David requested no memorial. His ashes will be scattered in Knoxville, his birthplace and home of his childhood memories.
