Dalmos Eugene Munger

Dalmos Eugene Munger, 78, of Decatur, TN, passed away April 26, 2023, at a local healthcare facility. He was born March 9, 1945, to the late Joseph William Munger & Velma Lora Munger in Chattanooga, TN and of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Kimberly Ann Munger; 4 brothers and 5 sisters.

Survived by his wife, Frances Arlene Munger; daughter, Dana Ellis, by choice; grandchildren, Chad Matthew’s, Pankie Illinioss, Trent Austin Green, Cleveland, Bre’lyn Michelle Carter, Mariah Autium Carter, Kindra Jean Carter; a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM-7:00 PM, Sunday, April 30, 2023, at Companion Funeral Home, followed by the service in the chapel at 7:00 PM. Burial will be held at 3:00 PM, Monday, May 1, 2023, at McInturff Cemetery in Birchwood, TN.
