Dallas Scott

Dallas Scott, 64, a resident of Fairmount, GA, passed away on Friday April 15th, 2016 at his home. He was born on September 13th, 1951 in Cleveland, TN, to the late Roy Dallas Scott Sr. and Mildred Sweeney Scott. Dallas was known for being an avid hunter. He loved his coon dogs and his chickens.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandparents, Bill & Nora Scott, Albert & Lucy Sweeney; brother, Larry Scott; special brother-in-law, Vernon Renner and Uncles Gene and Junior Scott.
Dallas leaves behind to cherish his memory, the mother of his children, Phyllis Woody Scott; children, Christi (James) Long, Michael (Adria) Scott, and Josh (Amanda) Scott; sisters, Billie Renner, Hilda (Melvin) Longley, and Marcella (Joe) Hicks; uncle, Corky Scott; grandchildren, Cody (GI) Scott, Gavin Scott, Caitlynn Grady, Jacob Long, Jacob Dreas, Josh Dreas, Aereonna Scott, Dakota Scott, and Landon Scott, as well as numerous other extended family and friends.
A celebration of life memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 20th, 2016, at 6:00pm in the chapel of Companion Funeral Home, located at 2419 Georgetown Road, with Brother James Long officiating.
A visitation period will be held one hour prior from 5:00pm until the 6:00pm service time.
