Crawford "Mitchell" Wooten , age 65, of Rossville , Georgia, passed away on April 22, 2026.
Mitchell cherished time spent with his family, creating lasting memories filled with laughter, stories, and simple moments together. Generous with both his time and heart, he never met a stranger and was always willing to offer kindness, support, and a listening ear to those around him. He was a devoted fan of Alabama Crimson Tide football and had a deep appreciation for classic rock , both of which were lifelong sources of happiness for him.
He is survived by his beloved wife of twenty-nine years, Tammy Wooten; his daughter, Rebecca Wooten; his step-sons Shaun Lawler and Chris Lawler. He is also survived by his sister Dale Ann Heath and brother Milton Beam, Jr.
He is preceded in death by his father Mabron Crawford Wooten; his mother Doris Annetta Beam; and his sister Teresa "Lynn" Beam Cupp.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at 11:00 am. The location will be at Woodstation Church-13198 Alabama Highway, Ringgold, Georgia 30736. Flowers, Donations, or correspondence may be sent to this address.
A special note for guests: In honor of Mitchell's love for Alabama football , guests are encouraged to wear crimson red, Alabama attire, or apparel supporting their own favorite team - with one notable exception: No Tennessee Orange.
