Cordia Lola Roberts Hill

Cordia Lola Roberts Hill, age 95, passed away peacefully into the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on September 3, 2026.

Cordia was born on August 27, 1931, in Pikeville, Tennessee, and was raised in Spring Cily, Tennessee. She had just celebrated her 95th birthday.

Cordia was truly a jack of all trades and was never afraid of hard work.

Throughout her life, she worked at Oster, made biscuits at Hardee's, flipped houses, and provided laundry services at Spring City Nursing Home.

Whatever she was doing, Cordia brought her own special energy and determination to it.

She was vibrant, full of life, and never met a stranger. ! Cordia met you once. she considered you a friend. She had a way of making people feel welcomed and remembered, and her lively spirit left a lasting impression on those fortunate enough to know her. She also loved gardening and canning and found great joy in the simple things in life.

Cordia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William "Bill" Hill; her son, Lonnie Jackson; her father, Newt Roberts; her mother, Ida Etherton Roberts; her brothers, Clil Roberts, C.M. Roberts, John Roberts, Amos Roberts, and Wade Roberts; and her sisters, Hyla Bice, Eva Harrell, and Margie Walker.

She is survived by her sister, Decia Cranjield; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her special babies, Bodhi Thompson, Jasper Hughes, and Dawson Hughes, whom she loved so very much. Special neighbors who were like family Donnie & Sue Wayman, Luther & Brenda Fugate, Finley Fugate and Joe & Danielle Berry.

Cordia will be deeply missed by her family, her friends, and all those whose lives she touched. Her vibrant personality, kind heart, and love for others will remain treasured memories for those who knew and loved her.

Cordia's family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Golden Years in Spring City for the exceptional care, kindness, and compassion they provided to her over the past year.

A private gravesite service will be held at a later date.
