Colleen "Sissy" Bryant, age 67, passed away on April 17, 2026. She was born on January 6, 1959.
Sissy was preceded in death by her partner, Joel Bryant; her parents, Chick and Zetty Ownby; and her brother, Boone Ownby.
She is survived by her children: Joey Bryant and his wife Jenny Bryant, along with their daughter Morgan; and Priscilla Stampe and her husband David Stampe, along with their daughters Addison, Amelia, Anna, Autumn, and Ayla. She is also survived by her beloved siblings: her sisters Mary, Bobbie Jo, and Tiny, and her brother David. She shared a deep and special bond with them, and their love and support meant so much throughout her life. She loved her siblings fiercely, and they loved her just as much.
Sissy was a woman who loved deeply. She had a heart that was generous beyond measure and was always willing to give, even when she had very little. If someone needed help, she would give whatever she could, often going without herself just to make sure others were cared for.
Her life was not without struggle. She faced battles with addiction throughout the years, but through it all, her faith remained. She loved the Lord, and no matter how many times she fell, she always found the strength to get back up and try again. Her perseverance and faith were a testament to her spirit.
Above all, Sissy loved her family. She treasured every moment spent with her children and grandchildren. Her love for them was constant and unconditional.
Sissy will be remembered for her kindness, her giving heart, and the love she showed to everyone around her. Though her life was imperfect, it was filled with compassion, resilience, and a deep capacity to love.
Her family finds comfort in knowing she is now at peace, free from pain, and reunited with the Lord.
"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith."
2 Timothy 4:7
