Obituary

Claudia Mildred Gamble Rosser, 105, of Cleveland passed away at her home on January 22, 2015.

She was born on November 21, 1909 in Boaz, Alabama. She was the daughter of the late Robert Oscar and Sally Umphress Gamble. She moved to Cleveland in 1937 when she married Homer Rosser.

She was the oldest living member of North Cleveland Baptist Church. For many years, she was an active member of the Dorcas Sunday School Class.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and four sisters and four brothers. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Ann Lowe and her husband, Erwin; Granddaughter, Lori Lowe, several nieces and nephews. Also, her caregivers: Sarita Wells, Charlotte Hewitt, Pat Ogles, Andrea Jones and Kathyrn Shubert.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 25, 2015 from 2:00PM until 4:00PM at North Cleveland Baptist Church. A celebration of her life will be held at 4:00PM conducted by Dr. Jay McCluskey and Reverend Shane Pierce. Burial will be held on Monday, January 26 at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens at 11:00AM.

Pallbearers will be: Jim Goins, Frank Howell, David Lowe, Shane Pierce and Tommy Rosser.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to North Cleveland Baptist Church Building fund.
