Clarence Ned Varner, 71, passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2019, at a hospice facility in Chattanooga, TN. Clarence served in the U.S. Army in Korea and earned the rank of Sergeant. He loved to play pool in his free time. He was a beloved son and brother. He will be missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Russell and Grace Gertrude Varner; brothers Lewis Varner, Earl Varner, Howard Varner, Wayne Varner and sister Ruth Nolan.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his son Travis Sexton; brothers Paul Gerald (Charla) Varner, Wallace (Gail) Varner, Elmer Varner, Arthur Varner and Douglas Varner; sister Nellie (Jerry) Lipp and several nieces and nephews.
The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date. The internment will take place at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
