Clarence Dunn

Clarence Eugene Dunn Sr., 76, passed away on Thursday, July 23rd, 2024. Clarence was born in Bradley County, Tennessee to the late Buford Earl Dunn and Martha Elvori Dunn on May 13th, 1948. Clarence loved to fish, play and sing with his grandchildren, especially singing the song "Oh My Summer" to his granddaughter, Summer. He also enjoyed attending auctions with his special friend Charlie. He loved his wife dearly and was a dedicated member to Unity Church of God.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sons, Anthony and Timothy Eugene Dunn, and his siblings, Nancy Dunn and Carl Edward Dunn.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife, Betty Joe Dunn, children, Gene (Leayn) Dunn, and Chris (Shanda) Dunn, daughter-in-law Ashley Dunn, grandchildren, Summer Dunn, Trey Dunn, Kristen Dunn, Nick Dunn, and Alexis Dunn, as well as his brother, Ervin (Barbara) Dunn and great grandson Levi.

The family will be receiving friends Sunday, July 29th, 2024, at Companion Funeral Home of Cleveland- The Ridge Chapel, from 2 PM-8PM. The family will also be receiving friends on Monday, July 30th, 2024, at Unity Church of God, from 10 AM- 1 PM. Following the visitation, a Celebration of Life service will be held at 1 PM, with Pastor officiating. Graveside service is to follow at Delano Cemetery, with Blake Walker, Nick Dunn, Trey Dunn, Joe, Nathan Nichols, Chris Dunn, and Brandon Woodward serving as pallbearers.
