Clara Larson, age 79, of Winder, GA, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2026. Born with a creative soul and a tireless work ethic, Clara was a beloved fixture in her community, known for her artistic flair and her friendly face.

Clara dedicated many years of service to the USDA as a Meat Inspector before her retirement. Never one to stay idle, she most recently shared her warm personality with local shoppers at Costco, where she delighted in serving samples and chatting with neighbors.

A master of her craft, Clara was a remarkably talented quilter. She found great joy and sisterhood among her "quilting gals," creating intricate pieces that reflected her artistic eye. Her creativity didn't stop at the sewing machine; she was an avid gardener and a gifted crafter who could bring beauty to anything she touched.

Clara was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Larson; her brother, Ziggy Wisniewski; her sister, Rita Wisniewski; and her sister-in-law, Viola Wisniewski.

Her legacy of kindness and creativity lives on through her children: Theresa Larson of Winder, GA, and Richard (Lisa) Larson of Wausau, WI.
