Christopher Marvin
Suttles
October 26, 1979 – May 24, 2026
Christopher "Skittles" Suttles, 46, passed away on May 24, 2026.
Christopher had a passion for working on cars and was a devoted fan of the Florida State Seminoles. He enjoyed coaching youth football and baseball, and he never met a stranger, he truly loved people and had a special place in his heart for dogs. He found joy in fishing and spending time out on the boat.
Christopher was also a longtime fan of 90s alternative grunge music and was especially devoted to Nirvana, proudly collecting Kurt Cobain memorabilia over the years. Above all else, he cherished his family and especially loved family gatherings and time spent together.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Preceded in death by father, Rick Suttles; and maternal grandfather, Carl Wilkey.
Survivors include his three children, Abigail (Blake) Satler, Gage Suttles, and Eli Suttles; grandchildren, Kaylee Campbell and Roman Fairbanks; mother, Pamela (Russ) Burdette; sister, Tia (Cody) Stephens; brothers, RC Suttles, Jackson Suttles, Logan Burdette and Bryce Burdette; grandmothers, Janice Wilkey and Debra Gunter; mother of his children, Stacey Suttles; and his beloved boxer, Champ and his lab, Bella.
There will be no formal services at this time. In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to the American Heart Association in Christopher's memory.
You are encouraged to share a memory of Christopher and extend your condolences to his family by visiting his memorial page and guestbook at www.companionfunerals.com. Companion Funeral Home of Athens and the Cody family are honored to assist with these arrangements.
