It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Chris Crowe, a cherished husband, devoted father, beloved son, and a beacon of light to all who had the honor of knowing him. Chris peacefully departed this world on June 7, 2026, at the age of 53, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and unwavering devotion to his family.
Born on December 17, 1972, in Roanoke, Virginia, Chris was the cherished son of Ralph and Linda Crowe. He was predeceased by his father, Ralph, whose memory he held dear throughout his life.
Chris enjoyed growing up surrounded by the beauty of Virginia, developing a deep appreciation for life's simpler pleasures and cultivating the values that would guide him throughout his journey.
In 1996, Chris married the love of his life, Sabrina, with whom he shared an extraordinary bond for 30 wonderful years. Their marriage was a testament to enduring love, mutual respect, and a shared commitment to their family. Together, they built a life filled with laughter, warmth, and the kind of partnership that served as an inspiration to all who knew them. Chris was a devoted father to Ashley Wilson and Amber Benner and father-in-law to Brandon Wilson and Dakota Benner. He took immense pride in their accomplishments and supported them unconditionally, always encouraging them to follow their dreams and pursue their passions.
As a grandfather to Judith Wilson and Elloise Benner, Chris found immense joy and fulfillment. His grandchildren were the apples of his eye, and he cherished every moment spent with them, creating lasting memories that will be treasured forever.
Survived by his loving mother, Linda Crowe, and his dear sisters, Michelle Miller, Candy Crowe, and Amanda Crowe, Chris was a steadfast pillar of support and love for his family. His kindness and generosity knew no bounds, and he always put the needs of others before his own. Those who knew Chris will remember him for his deep love of God and family, which was evident in every aspect of his life.
His faith was unwavering, providing him with strength and guidance in times of both joy and adversity. Chris's compassion, humility, and genuine spirit touched the lives of everyone he met. He was a man who led by example, inspiring others with his integrity, grace, and steadfast devotion to those he held dear.
As we bid farewell to Chris, we take solace in the knowledge that he is now reunited with his father, Ralph, in eternal peace. His spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him, and his legacy will continue to inspire us all. The family invites those who knew and loved Chris to join in a celebration of his life. Chris Crowe's departure leaves a void that can never be filled, but his life is a beautiful reminder of the power of love, faith, and family. Rest in peace, dear Chris, knowing that you were loved deeply and will be missed beyond measure.
