Christine Gee, born on September 10, 1949, in Houston, Texas, passed away peacefully on November 6, 2025, in Cleveland, Tennessee. She was a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter that will endure through her family and friends.

Christine dedicated her life to her work as a seamstress in the carpet production industry, crafting beautiful pieces that reflected her keen eye for detail. A proud mother of five-daughters Christy Payne, Lois Parson, Terri Brown, Carmen Nichols, Yvonne Collins, and son Thomas Collins-she instilled values of hard work, creativity, and compassion in her children. Her family continued to expand, and she treasured each moment spent with her grandchildren, creating unforgettable memories. Christine is survived by her beloved grandchildren, including Lake Collins, Michelle (Shelley) Shubert, Joseph Waldo, Zech and Jasmine Payne, Leloni Payne, Timothy Payne, Jada and Hunter Blackwell, Sarah Mains, Cheyanne Brown, Bo Nichols, also several Great grandkids, Great great grandkids, neices, nephews and many loved friends who will always remember her playful spirit and fierce love.

Christine's passions were varied and rich; she adored her dogs, Baby and Sailor, found solace in gardening, and delighted in collecting wind chimes. Her love for Christmas was evident in her festive decorations, and she cherished Bible studies with her daughter, which deepened her faith and family bonds. Friends often described her as a caring person, but she also embodied the fierce spirit of a "gangster grandma," never hesitating to assert herself when necessary, whether through her playful corrections or memorable antics, such as an Easter surprise that had her granddaughter Lake in stitches.

An active member of her church, Freedom Worship, Christine's enthusiasm for life and community was felt by all who knew her. She had a particular fondness for Diet Mountain Dew and enjoyed unwinding with her favorite television shows. Her presence will be profoundly missed, and her fiery love and gentle spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever. Christine has been cremated, and the family invites loved ones to join them for a celebration of her remarkable life at a future service, which will be announced at a later date.
