Charris Darlene Kutscher Strawn, having attained the age of 73 years, 7 months, and 17 days, passed away on May 9, 2025 under hospice care at her Maryville home following a short illness.

She was born on September 22, 1951 in Blount County, Tennessee. She is preceded in death by her mother, Virginia (Hawn) Munsey; her adopted father, Wesley Kutscher; one daughter, Kimberly Janeaue (Sears) Swiney and her biological father, Thomas Gribble.

She is survived by four sons: Michael Kenji Sears, David Sheldon Johnson II, Charles William Dunkelberger II, and Billy Aaron Dunkelberger; ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and her extended family and many friends who loved her and mourn her loss.

Following cremation, her ashes will be returned to her family with no services planned at this time.
