In Loving Memory of Charlotte Ann Garrett

November 27, 1939 - November 30th, 2025

Charlotte passed peacefully from this life into the arms of Jesus, the One she loved most. Her faith was the foundation of everything she did, and she never missed a chance to be in church, worship, or fellowship with others. She lived with a heart full of grace, humility, and devotion.

Charlotte loved her family fiercely. If you needed her, she was there-no hesitation, no questions asked. She poured encouragement into those she loved, and gave honest, heartfelt advice that always came from a place of deep care. She spoke her mind with truth and sincerity, and if she ever thought she hurt someone's feelings, she was the first to feel remorse-because her heart was just that tender.

She was Preceded by her parents Charlie and Berda Patrick .

Charlotte had two sons, Tony Garrett and Mark Garrett, were her pride and joy-her rock. Tony is the father of Charlotte's granddaughter Taylor Buckner, married to Brandon Buckner, and she blessed Charlotte with two great-grandchildren, Connor McKinney and Bailey Buckner , who brought her endless joy and laughter. Mark is the father of her grandsons Tanner Garrett and Mathew Womac Charlotte always had her grandbabies over, she loved them deeply.

Charlotte is also survived by her beloved sister, Norma Wilcoxin, whose relationship with Charlotte was one of lifelong friendship, support, and sisterly love. Norma's children-Robbie Newberry, Penny Nelson, Tina Maples and Sam Matsler -were each deeply cherished by Charlotte as well.

To know Charlotte was to know kindness. To love her was easy. To be loved by her was a blessing that will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends. Her legacy is one of faith, loyalty, honesty, and a love that never wavered.

Her presence will be deeply missed, but her light will remain in every memory, every story, and every life she touched.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2025 at 12:00 pm at Hilcrest Memorial Gardens.
