Charlie S Brown

Charles S. “Charlie” Brown, 70, a lifelong resident of Cleveland passed away unexpectedly at his home on August 16, 2019. A graduate of Cleveland High School and Tusculum College, Charlie was retired after a long career at Bowater (Resolute). He loved golf and was a talented musician.
He was preceded in death by his mother Minnie Brown; siblings, Kenneth Brown, Joan Moore and Barbara Hicks; and a son, Patrick Watts.

Survivors include his loving wife of 48 years, Judy Tuggle Brown; daughter, Andi Brown Donaldson; son Chris Watts (Celeste); brothers, Jimmy Brown, Donnie Brown, and Billy Brown; 2 grandchildren, Bryce Watts and Cayleigh Watts; and several nieces and nephews.

In keeping with his wishes, a private family memorial will be held at a later date.

The Cody family and Companion Funeral Home of Cleveland are honored to assist the Brown family with Charlie’s arrangements.
