Charles Turner

Charles Gordon Turner, known to his friends as "The Bear" passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, February 22, 2024. He is preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Dian Turner, his sisters Wilma Epperson and Wanda Arms, his brother Gene Turner and infant brother Paul Turner. He is survived by his brother Clyde Turner (Mary), his nieces Pam Hoskins, Beth Turner Cassida, Anne Turner and Gail Sterling. He was a true fan of the Volunteers and all sports at Bradley Central High School. He played football for Bradley Central High School in the late 1960s with his brother Bernie Clyde. He was a true Bear and loved by all. The family will be having a memorial gathering at a later date.
