Charles Smith

Charles Brian "Chewy" Smith, 55, of Cleveland, TN passed away on Oct. 5, 2024.

Brian was an avid Nascar fan, enjoyed reading, and was quite the pool shark from an early age. He had recently worked in the construction industry. Brian loved his family and friends, and will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his son, Travis Smith (& wife, Brigitte); mother Jane Thompson Dial; aunt Mary Ann Copes; step sons Marty and Jacob Hamp; former wife Lisa Verner and her brother, Scott as well as his beloved grandchildren. He is also survived by his step siblings: Bobi Harold, Bambi Sands, Robert Dial, Jennifer Gober and Travis Dial in addition to several nieces, nephews and cousins-in addition to special cousin, Tommy Gibbons.

Brian was preceded in death by his beloved grandmother, Corkey Butler; father, Terry Smith; as well as his long time friend, Topper Loghry.
