In Loving Memory of Charles Martin "Marty" Moore.
Marty Moore, age 54, died unexpectedly on March 6, 2026 in Kingston, TN.
Marty and his twin sister Dawn were adopted at birth in Jacksonville, FL on January 24, 1972 into the loving home of their parents, Richard and Anita.
Marty is survived by his older by 15 minutes twin sister, Evelyn Dawn Royer; Richard Moore, his adopted father who has and will always be Dad; Anita Oliver, his adopted mother who has and always will be mom; his brother Sean Moore, step-father Don Gray and step-mother Judy Moore; his uncles, Alan Johnson and Henry Heliker; life-long friend turned family, Laurissa Payne and her husband Kenneth Payne.
Marty and Dawn found their biomom, June Cosselmon, when they turned 50 years old. They formed a loving bond that lasted until June's death on April 19, 2024.
Those who knew Marty very well knew him as "Martimus Maximus". He was a unique, funny, colorful and kind hearted soul. Marty loved music, especially playing the guitar and drums. Dawn has many great memories with Marty with some of her favorites with is she and Marty "jamming" together. As teenagers, Marty would play guitar or drums, and Dawn would sing.
Marty was also a great artist, producing amazing drawings and paintings. He was also a hilarious storyteller, often leaving his listeners in tears because he was so funny.
Marty could light up a room with his charm and humor. Everyone who met him knew that they were in for a good time. Marty was a TALKER! He loved to talk and was very passionate about what he would say.
Dawn was born with a best friend, a wombmate, her constant. Growing up, they were inseparable, sharing life's ups and downs; and Dawn was very protective of her twin brother.
Marty is loved and missed; and will remain forever in the hearts of those who loved him. This loss is shattering but we know that God has him and he is waiting for us on the other side.
