Charles Johnson

Charles Nelson Johnson, known as Nelson by most, 48 years old went home to be with the Lord peacefully in his sleep on Friday, July 26, 2024.

His memory and love will be carried on in the hearts of his survivors: his mother Rita Diane Randolph; his wife of 14 years Margrett Murray Johnson; his daughters Abby Johnson of Ft. Oglethorpe, GA and Kiara Murray of Chattanooga, TN; his son Walter (Gage) Murray of Kingston, TN; his sisters Robin (Scott) McCoy of Ringgold, GA and Dana (Tony) Lockhart of Chattanooga, TN; several nieces, nephews and great nephews along with two grand babies on the way.

Nelson loved to travel and was very proud of his heritage Cherokee Indian and Irish from his grandmother, Lucy. He loved to listen to Tribal music for peace and serenity. Last but not least he had a very strong and close relationship with the Lord. We feel very blessed we will see him again one day.
