The family of Charles William "Chuck" Hall is deeply saddened to announce his passing on May 27, 2026, in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Born on February 24, 1951, in Cleveland, Ohio, Chuck was the son of Martha Gamary and William Thaine Hall, who predeceased him.
Chuck graduated from Southern Tech with highest honors and went on to a career as an industrial engineer with Shaw Industries. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran. Outside of his professional life, Chuck was an avid outdoorsman and traveler, enjoying fishing, hunting, camping, cruising with his wife and grandsons, hiking, and volunteering with the Benton MacKaye Trail Association.
Chuck is remembered as a kind, gentle, and respectful man with a dry sense of humor.
Chuck is lovingly survived by his wife, Rebecca Feezell Hall; grandsons, Will Jarvis (Krista) and Thomas Jarvis (Halee Jones); stepson, Dean Jarvis (Shawna Williamson); and sisters, Mary Fontaine (Ted) and Patricia Hall.
He was preceded in death by his brother, John Hall.
Additional dear survivors include his nephew, Daniel Fontaine (Maddie); great-niece, Selvi Fontaine; great-granddaughters, Hadley Jarvis and Lila Bullock; brother-in-law, Glen Kao Feezell (Sue); sisters-in-law, Pat Dunn and Jackie Perry (Al); and many other extended family members and friends.
Chuck will be especially missed by his friendly labradoodle and walking partner, Willie.
