Chuck R. Ellis

Charles (Chuck) Ellis, a devoted husband, father and hard-working individual, passed away on December 18, 2025, at the age of 58. He was a resident of McDonald Tennessee.

Chuck is survived by his beloved wife Buffy Ellis, and his sweet son Kasey Ellis.

Also, by his sister Regina Holder/husband Greg, and his brother Mitch Ellis/wife Laura, both couples residing in Birchwood Tennessee. Also by his niece Rachel Holder, great nephew Ayden Anguiano, and by dear loved ones Barney Stiles, in-laws Dale and Rosa Dodson, Dale, Kandi, Rose and Raine Bryant, Zander and Kaylee Tinsley, and Jesse Anguiano.

Chuck was also preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Mary Sue Ellis.

In early life, Chuck was an employee of Napa Auto Parts, followed by 16 years at Brock Candy Company. After that time,until death, he owned his own company: American Fireplace.

He was a man of many passions. He had a love for NASCAR and dirt track racing, which he shared with his brother and father. For years, as a younger man, he locally drove a dirt track race car #39.

He also had a love of fishing and camping, and of doing these activities with his son and wife- as often as possible. He loved cutting up and singing, and also baking! He was famous for his homemade chocolate pie and his double topping Coca-Cola cake.

Chuck is being held for viewing at Companion Funeral Home, 2412 Georgetown Road Cleveland Tennessee, from 4 - 8:00 p.m., on Friday December 26, 2025. Then from 11 am - 1 pm on Saturday December 27, 2025. Immediately followed by the Celebration of Life Service at 1:00 p.m.

The burial will follow at McDonald Cemetery, 8004 McDonald Cemetery Road, Ooltewah Tennessee.

Chuck will be dearly missed and loved by all who knew his amazing personality and his unwavering love and kindness.
