Charles Johnson

Charles Edward Johnson, age 44, passed away on May 28, 2025, finding the peace he longed for in the embrace of Jesus and his beloved father. He faced many challenges in life, both physically and mentally, but at his core, he was a loving and lighthearted soul who touched the hearts of those around him.

He found joy in music, the power and movement of trucks, and above all, his faith. Even as life became more difficult, he held onto the hope of returning home to Jesus and his dad, speaking of that reunion with warmth and certainty.

He is survived by his mother, Gloria Ann Johnson, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and special caregivers, who will cherish the moments shared and the love that was always there. He is preceded in death by his father, Charles Edward Johnson, his brother, David Wayne Johnson, his grandparents, several aunts and uncles, and cousins. A celebration of his life for family and close friends will be held Wednesday, June 11, 2025 in his honor. We invite those attending to share stories, music, and memories that reflect the joy he found in the world.
