Charles Dean

Charles David Dean, 76, of Ooltewah, TN passed away peacefully June 28, 2025, after a year long battle with cancer. Charles was born October 24, 1948, in Austinville, VA to the late Guy and Iva Dean.

Charles was an Electrical Engineer at TVA for 29 years. He enjoyed fishing, photography and spending time with family. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother who loved his family dearly.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 57 years, Dreama Dean; his daughter Melissa Shaw McNabb (Travis); grandchildren: Corey Shaw (Brittany), Samantha Shaw (Tanner); great grandchildren: Corey Jr, Arabella, Callie and Skip. He also leaves behind his sister, Brenda Crawford (Don) and Brother, Donald Dean (Sandra) and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

Charles' family will have a celebration of life at a later date.
