Charles Coleman Burnette, 61, of Rossville, GA, passed away, January 25, 2026, at his residence. He was born February 11, 1964, and of the Baptist faith. Charlie was a well-known tow truck driver for Chattanooga, the most part of his life. He loved racing cars and was loved by everyone who he encountered. Charles was an amazing, Godly man; he would brighten a room. Just his presence alone made a difference.
Charles is preceded in death by his mother, Willie Burnette; father, Edward Paul Burnette; brother, Paul Edward Burnette, Sr.; Donna Burnette, Gale and Glenda Bales.
Survived by his loving wife, Crystal Burnette; daughter, Cori Burnette; son-in-law, Michael Taylor, Angela Clayton and son-in-law, Yancy Clayton; siblings, Regina Sutton, Timothy Burnette, Sue Petterson and Louise Ratliff; his grandchildren who made his life so much better and loved till the end of the world, Hailey Robinson, Hayden Robinson, Johnny Balton, Jarred Balton, Ellie Clayton; nephew, Eddie Burnette, Jr., Ericka Condra, Joshua Burnette, David Sutton, and a host of friends he loved.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
