Charles Austin Garren

Charles Austin Garren, 81, a resident of Athens, TN passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2022 in a Knoxville, TN hospital. He was born in Madisonville, TN on June 2, 1941 a son of the late Elbert & Esther Garren. He owned and operated a sawmill for many years.
In addition to his parents, Austin is also preceded in death by several siblings Wanda, Wesley, Junior, Glenn, Billy, Joe, Louise and Elsie.
Austin leaves behind to cherish his memory a special niece Darla Lingerfelt and her family, numerous other extended family member and a host of special friends who helped care for Austin for many years.
A graveside service is planned for Thursday, August 4, 2022 at 12:00 PM in the McMinn Memory Gardens with the Reverend Greg Hutsell officiating.
