Cecil Ewing

Cecil Duane Ewing, 86, of Athens, TN, formerly of Mt. Carroll, IL, went home to be with the Lord Friday, July 25, 2025. He was a faithful member of New Bethany Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by parents Clarence and Vira Ewing; siblings Dorothy and Harvey Adams, Jackie and Melvin Kehl, Robert and Boots Ewings, and Ruth and Ross McMenamin.

Survivors include daughters Darcy and Jeff Miller of Niota, and Selena Hitchcock of Dixon, IL; grandchildren Jacob and Jessi Miller of Decatur, and Emily and Matt Johnson of Sweetwater; grandchildren Reighan, Arleigh, Moriah, Grace, and Eden; many neices and nephews.

His wishes were to not have a service. The post family and Companion Funeral Home of Athens, TN are honored to assist the family during this time.
